Primary Midwife ( CPM, LLM) - Homebirth:

As a homebirth midwife, I will provide all prenatal care, labor and birth support and post partum care.
This includes:
-Prenatals on the usual schedule of once per month until 28 weeks, once every 2 weeks until 36 weeks and once a week until delivery or 42 weeks. ( A biophysical profile will be done at 41 weeks to be approved for homebirth until 42 weeks)
-Referring you to a risk assessment care provider as part of your prenatal care ( OB, CNM or health dept APRN) at 12 and 36 weeks for routine testing.
*This expense is separate from my global fee*
-Monitoring vitals for you and baby during labor and delivery
-Catching the baby or assisting you and your partner in catching baby.
-Assessing vitals for you and baby once born
- Postpartum visits at: 12-36 hrs, 1 week and 2 weeks in your home. Follow up visits will be in office.

Labor/Birth Doula- Home or Hospital

As a doula I provide emotional, physical, and educational support to mother’s and pregnant couples who are expecting, experiencing labor, or have recently given birth.
I strive to help you emotionally and physically navigate the complex modern system of prenatal care and birth.
Whether someone wants a completely intuitive natural birth experience at home or wishes/needs to give birth with some intervention in a hospital setting. Education is key to making an informed decision and support is something everyone deserves.

My goal is to help you have a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience.

- 4 concierge or in office prenatal appointments (2 prenatals can be preemptively transferred to postpartum, if desired)

Lactation:

Breast/Body-feeding is a beautiful bonding experience, but it can also be challenging for many of us. For those who would like support in learning the ins and outs of breastfeeding or for those who do experience complications during this journey, I am here to help!
During a visit I will

- assess the baby’s ability to feed at the breast and make suggestions on improvements that might be made.
-I will refer you to an IBCLC and OMT if baby is in need of a more comprehensive oral assessment when tethered oral tissues are found. (Any additional charge by the IBCLC or OMT, not included in pricing.)
-positioning support
-assessing reflux
-identify blebs, clogged ducts and mastitis and discuss treatment options
- identify nipple trauma and discuss treatment options
- safe bottle feeding positions
- safe infant sleeping
